What is Early Intervention?

Early Intervention is a service available locally that seeks to identify and assist families of children afflicted by or at risk for a developmental delay or disability between birth and three years of age. Early intervention strives to help children acquire the skills necessary to grow, learn and develop to the greatest extent possible in later years.

As an early intervention service provider, Aprendamos Intervention Team works with these children and families to provide the resources necessary to reach their developmental goals. Aprendamos offers speech and language therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, family therapy, service coordination, nutrition services and developmental specialist services for families with eligible children
