REFERRAL

Aprendamos Intervention Team

When should a child be referred?

Babies are born learning. Your child’s most rapid development occurs from birth through his or her third birthday. The first three years set the stage for a lifetime of learning. Parents and caregivers are often concerned when a child’s development seem slower that expected. If you are concerned about your child’s development you should refer them to Early Intervention or contact their primary care provider. Developmental screenings, assessments and ongoing services are no cost to families and anyone can refer.

Below are developmental milestones and a check list you can download to see if you child is on track. If you have any questions or concerns that maybe your child need some support in certain areas give us a call or click the referral button.
