Babies are born learning. Your child’s most rapid development occurs from birth through his or her third birthday. The first three years set the stage for a lifetime of learning. Parents and caregivers are often concerned when a child’s development seem slower that expected. If you are concerned about your child’s development you should refer them to Early Intervention or contact their primary care provider. Developmental screenings, assessments and ongoing services are no cost to families and anyone can refer.

At Aprendamos we believe in families first and we strive for excellence. Our Pediatric Specialty Team is made up of therapists and providers who are specialist in their fields.

Our Pediatric Specialty Team is experiences in working with premature infants, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, medically fragile and more.

• Speech Language Pathologist with SOS or Sequential Oral Sensory Training for babies with feeding difficulties and growth/weight problems.
• Physical Therapists who are Board Certified Pediatric Specialists
• Occupational Therapists who are SIPT Certified or Sensory Integration Praxis Test Certified to treat children with Sensory issues and concerns. Also working with speech language pathologists to support feeding difficulties.
• Registered Nurse on staff with experience in treating medically fragile and high-risk children.
• Service Coordinators, Developmental Instructions, Social Workers, Family Therapists, Infant Massage, Home Visiting, Parent Education and Fathering Classes.
