for Healthcare Awards
LAS CRUCES, NM – Three of Aprendamos’ own have been nominated for Healthcare Awards. The Second Annual Health Care Awards hosted by the Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce will be held on July 27th, 2018. Aprendamos Intervention Team’s employees and teams were nominated in three categories; Compassion Award, Team Work Award and the Emerging Leader Award.
Krista Gonzales, Speech-Language Pathologist was nominated for the Compassion Award. Compassion is the ability to sympathize with another person’s suffering. The compassion award recognizes a professional who regularly practices compassion. Characteristics of the Compassion Award include alleviating another person’s hardship or enduring with them in a time of difficulty.
Mariposa Autism Service Center Team was nominated for the Team Work Award. Team Work is essential to a productive and cohesive project or program. The team work award carries the spirit of a program’s mission and sees it into fruition while inspiring others to take ownership of the task.
Joshua Stoller, Conscious Fathering Program Coordinator was nominated for the Emerging Leader award. The emerging leader award recognizes a student or young professional that has been seen motivating and inspiring others; who is passionate about their field; and is paving their own path.
