Our journey began with a simple mission: to support children and families through compassionate, expert care. Over the years, we have grown, adapted and expanded our services to meet the evolving needs of our community. We’ve grown to become a trusted partner in early intervention, therapy and family support.

How Our Programs Grew
Aprendamos began with a single early intervention program and a small team committed to helping families thrive. As the needs of our community grew, so did we—expanding into new programs that support children and families at every stage of life. From autism services to family counseling, each program was created with compassion, and the goal of meeting families where they are.
Aprendamos Early Intervention
Aprendamos Intervention Team was founded as a therapist-run organization, providing early intervention services for children from birth to three years old.
Esperanza Children's Therapy
Families expressed concerns about limited resources for children older than three, sparking the creation of the Esperanza Children’s Therapy Clinic, offering outpatient services for ages 3 to 18 (and up to 21 in some cases).
Mariposa Autism Service Center
With a growing demand for services for children diagnosed with Autism, we secured a grant from the NM Department of Health and established Mariposa Autism Service Center (MASC), providing ABA therapy for children ages 3 to 18.
Alegría Family Counseling
Families experienced high levels of stress needing mental health support. This lead to the formation of Alegria Family Counseling Clinic, offering family therapy and mental health services.
Unidos Fathering Services
Recognizing the importance of father involvement, we launched the Unidos Fathering Services, offering classes and resources for new and expecting fathers.
Cariño Family Health
The Cariño Family Health & Wellness Programs was introduced to support expecting parents and families with children up to age three through services like infant massage, breastfeeding support, and parent education.
