Congratulations, Martha!

Please join us in congratulating Martha Contreras on stepping into her new role as an New Hire Trainer with Mariposa Autism Service Center and Aprendamos Family of Services.

For the past three years, Martha has served as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), working directly with children and families while building meaningful relationships and gaining hands-on experience in the field. As she moves into this new leadership role, she brings with her a deep commitment to mentorship, compassion, and quality care.

“What excites me most about this new role is the opportunity to pour into other RBTs the way others have poured into me,” Martha shared. “This role is more than just training. It’s about building confidence, shaping strong, compassionate RBTs, and ultimately improving the quality of care our clients receive.”

Martha’s passion for this work is rooted in advocacy. She is deeply committed to recognizing each client’s unique strengths and helping create a culture where children are truly seen, understood, and supported.

As an RBT Trainer, Martha plans to lead with intention, consistency, and heart. Her approach combines patience and understanding with high expectations for growth and excellence. She hopes to create a space where staff feel supported, challenged, and empowered to become their best.

“I bring strong relationship-building skills, empathy, patience, and hands-on experience working with children on the autism spectrum,” Martha said. “I lead with passion and purpose, and I’m excited to continue growing in leadership, mentorship, and clinical development.”

One of Martha’s proudest accomplishments has been the relationships she has built with clients and their families. Seeing children grow, communicate, and thrive has been one of the most rewarding parts of her journey.

Martha’s professional growth has also been shaped by her personal journey as a parent, as well as the mentors, supervisors, and families who have supported and influenced her along the way. Her faith continues to ground her and guide how she shows up each day with love, grace, and intention.

Outside of work, Martha enjoys dancing, including salsa and bachata, spending time with family and friends, and traveling. These moments help her stay balanced, energized, and connected.

As she begins this new chapter, Martha carries both gratitude and responsibility. “This work is deeply personal to me, and I don’t take lightly the impact we have on the lives of the families we serve,” she shared. “My goal is to lead with love, build others up, and leave a lasting impact not just in the progress of our clients, but in the confidence and growth of every RBT I have the privilege to train.”

Congratulations, Martha! Thank you for your dedication, heart, and commitment to supporting our clients, families, and team members.
