Please join us in congratulating Sarah Triplett on her promotion to Apprenticeship Coordinator for Mariposa Autism Service Center (MASC)!
Sarah joined Aprendamos Family of Services in November 2024 as a part-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) before transitioning into a full-time role in August 2025. Since joining the MASC team, she has had the opportunity to grow alongside the clients and team members she supports while bringing her experience and passion for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to her work each day.
Now, Sarah is beginning a new chapter focused on helping develop the next generation of behavior analysts.
Finding Meaning in Everyday Progress
For Sarah, some of the most meaningful moments in her work come from seeing how skills developed through ABA can make a difference in everyday life.
She recently reflected on a full-circle moment with a client who, a year earlier, had difficulty tolerating having their hair touched. Over time, that changed. During a recent session, the client was able to comfortably wear French braids and even have them restyled after they became messy.
Moments like these are an important reminder that progress is not always measured by one large milestone. Sometimes, meaningful growth can be found in an everyday experience that has become more comfortable, independent, or accessible over time.
“Seeing these seemingly small but deeply significant milestones achieved brings so much joy to my heart and reminds me exactly why we do what we do,” Sarah shared.
Supporting the Next Generation of BCBAs
In her new role as Apprenticeship Coordinator, Sarah will focus on supporting Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) as they advance through the training and professional development needed on their journeys toward becoming Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
For Sarah, that opportunity combines two areas of work she cares deeply about: behavior analysis and mentorship.
“I am absolutely thrilled to support, mentor, and champion our Registered Behavior Technicians as they become trainees, and then guide them on their professional journeys to becoming BCBAs,” Sarah shared. “Teaching the next generation of behavior analysts is a true passion of mine.”
Through mentorship, collaboration, and ongoing support, Sarah hopes to help trainees build not only their clinical knowledge, but also the confidence and professional skills they will need as future behavior analysts.
Bringing New Perspectives to Leadership
Sarah’s approach to leadership has been shaped by her experience practicing ABA in different parts of the country and working alongside people from a variety of cultural backgrounds and communities.
She hopes those experiences will allow her to bring a broad perspective to the Apprenticeship Program while continuing to learn from the people around her.
“I hope to infuse our team with fresh energy, collaborative spirit, and genuine excitement for where we can go together in the future,” she said.
That collaborative approach will also be central to how Sarah supports apprentices and colleagues in her new position. She wants team members to feel comfortable sharing ideas, asking questions, and contributing to the continued growth of the program.
“My door is always open,” Sarah shared. “I actively welcome your feedback, ideas, and creative suggestions. Together, we can build the strongest possible support system to help our trainees succeed and thrive as future BCBAs.”
Celebrating Sarah’s Next Chapter
Sarah’s move into the Apprenticeship Coordinator role reflects both her passion for behavior analysis and her commitment to helping others grow within the field.
As she begins this new chapter, we look forward to seeing her support MASC team members as they develop their skills, pursue their professional goals, and prepare to become future BCBAs.
