Please welcome Jessica Fernandez, Early Intervention Community Events Coordinator/Child Development Center Liaison, to the Aprendamos Family of Services team! As the Events Coordinator, she will manage structured classes designed to help children receiving early intervention services reach their Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) goals in a group setting. During these community classes, families can expect to participate in activities that boost motor skills, social interaction, parent involvement, and confidence — all while connecting with other families receiving early intervention services.
Originally from the Southwest, Jessica now calls the El Paso/Chaparral area home. She attended New Mexico State University where she received her Bachelor’s in Arts and Science with minors in Creative Writing and Social Media Management. During her academic career, she focused on communications and marketing, allowing her to combine creativity, organization, and community outreach in her work. Prior to joining Aprendamos, Jessica served as a Marketing Manager at the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and worked with a marketing company serving brands across the United States. She also served as an Outreach Marketing Manager for a dental specialist. “My roles have included creating strategies, managing digital platforms, and building community connections,” she shared.
Jessica is looking forward to making an impact for children and families receiving early intervention services. “I’m excited to help families connect and create programs that support them beyond traditional services. I joined Aprendamos because of its heart for families and its dedication to making a real difference in early childhood development,” she said.
When she isn’t coordinating early intervention community events like baby yoga and Tumblebugs, she enjoys spending time with her family, managing two fitness ministries in El Paso, staying active with weightlifting, serving her church, and working on creative projects. “I’m passionate about creating opportunities where families feel supported, empowered, and connected. This passion is driven even outside of work which makes this opportunity to work for Aprendamos heart shaped.”
Welcome to the Aprendamos Family, Jessica! Thank you for your commitment to putting families first.
