Please join us in welcoming Arlene Britt to the Aprendamos Family of Services team! Arlene will serve as the Aprendamos Chief of Staff. As the Chief of Staff, Arlene will serve as a trusted strategic partner to the CEO, C-suite, and Senior Managers, acting as a key integrator, executor, and organizational leader. This role is responsible for advancing enterprise-wide priorities by aligning the CEO’s vision with operational execution, while ensuring the organization’s work consistently meets the highest standards of quality, compliance, and accountability across all services.
Originally from San Diego, CA, Arlene and her family relocated several times due to her father’s career as a serviceman in the Navy. With the family spending Arlene’s formative years in Oahu, Hawaii, she majored in Nursing at Hawaii Pacific University and went on to attend graduate school at Penn State University, where she studied Healthcare Administration.
After graduation, Arlene began her career as a Labor and Delivery and Medical Intensive Care Unit nurse. She transitioned to serve as a Service Coordinator, followed by professional roles in Medicaid Managed Care. Prior to joining Aprendamos, Arlene served as a freelance healthcare consultant and during this time, provided her consulting services to the Aprendamos organization.
When we asked Arlene what she is eager to tackle in her new role, she shared, “What I’m most excited about accomplishing in this role is being able to support teams from behind the scenes so that they can achieve their highest potential.” She was inspired by the organization’s core values that help to guide the approach to services and care. “What drew me to Aprendamos is the mission-driven work and people behind it. There is genuine commitment to learning, equity, and long-term impact, paired with wonderful people who are ready to grow and evolve.”
When Arlene isn’t busy strengthening our organizational effectiveness and improving our strategic initiatives, she can be found on the tennis court or exploring the city.
