When Aubony joined the Aprendamos Family in June, she brought with her years of experience in the mental health field. From working as a behavioral technician and lead case worker for children and adolescents to serving as a Child Protective Services investigator in Texas, those roles taught Aubony compassion, advocacy, and the power of human connection. These are values she now brings into her role at Aprendamos.
As our Aprendamos Early Intervention Program South Lead, Aubony is most excited about mentoring others and creating a supportive, uplifting space where every team member feels confident and valued. Her leadership is grounded in empathy, structure, and open communication, seeing challenges as opportunities for growth and collaboration.
With a background in behavioral health, crisis management, and family systems, Aubony brings strong organizational and communication skills to the team and she looks forward to further developing her mentorship and coaching abilities.
Originally from Texas, Aubony earned her Bachelor’s in Sociology with a minor in Women’s Studies from the University of Texas at El Paso. Outside of work, Aubony enjoys building Legos, making jewelry, journaling, and taking spontaneous road trips to discover hidden gems.
Aubony shared, “Even in my short time here, I’m proud of the relationships and trust that have already started to form. The most rewarding part has been seeing how genuinely dedicated everyone is to the families and children we serve — it’s such an inspiring environment to be a part of.
Welcome to the Aprendamos family, Aubony!
