Monica earned her bachelor’s degree in Family Studies in 2010 and a master’s degree in Social Work in 2014. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker and is trained in Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy for children diagnosed with autism. For the past 13 years, Monica has experience in working with toddlers to the elderly in a variety of capacities. She worked as a caregiver for the elderly, a daycare teacher for toddlers, a behavior management specialist for elementary age children,  a behavior technician with children with autism and in a Treatment Foster Care agency for 5 and a half years.  She specializes in treating individuals with mental health issues such as complex trauma, anxiety, depression, anger, grief, loss, family conflict, substance use, conduct, neglect, and abuse (both sexual and physical).
