Welcome MASC Director of Autism Services, Trisha Braecklein!
Trisha Braecklein, BCBA, has been selected as the new Mariposa Autism Services Center (MASC) Director for Autism Services within the Aprendamos Family of Services organization. Specializing in the Acceptance and Commitment Treatment (ACT) model to increase and reinforce caregiver engagement, she utilizes this model with staff development and support.
As the MASC Director of Autism Services, Trisha will provide visionary leadership to a multidisciplinary team to include RBT’s, BCBA’s and administrative staff. She will also monitor clinical quality, develop and modify department policies, oversee BCBA apprenticeship contracts and supervision hours, lead outreach and community engagement activities, and act as a liaison with government agencies, advocating for policies and resources that support individuals with autism and their families. In her role, Trisha will also foster collaborations with community organizations, educational institutions, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to enhance service delivery and promote awareness.
Originally from New Hampshire, Trisha holds a BA in Psychology from the University of New England and an MA in Behavior Analysis from Ball State University. Prior to joining the Aprendamos team, Trisha served as a Clinical Supervisor at Behavior Change Institute. She also served as a case worker for the State of Nevada Wrap Around Services. Trisha was also previously employed by Aprendamos as a Lead Clinical Supervisor.
In her free time, Trisha can be found traveling with her husband, Michel and son, William. She also describes herself as “a big foodie” and enjoys trying new cuisines during her travels. When at home, she enjoys crafting, reading, puzzles and game nights with friends, and visiting new towns in New Mexico.
When we asked Trisha what she is most looking forward to in her new role, she shared, “I am excited about continuing to support the exceptional team at MASC and helping our team members work towards their own goals.”
