Please join us in congratulating Gabrielle Rodriguez on her new role as Co-Director of Mariposa Autism Service Center!
Gabrielle has built a long history with Aprendamos Family of Services, beginning her journey with the organization in 2013 as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). After five years with Aprendamos, she later returned in 2023, bringing her combined time with the organization to approximately eight and a half years.
Throughout her career with Aprendamos, Gabrielle has taken on a variety of roles, including RBT, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Early Intervention BCBA, and Assistant Director of Autism Services. Each role has given her an opportunity to work alongside professionals across disciplines while continuing to support children and families.
Looking Ahead to MASC’s Growth
As Gabrielle begins this next chapter, she is especially excited about what the future holds for the MASC team.
MASC already has a strong team of BCBAs and RBTs, and Gabrielle looks forward to seeing current apprentices continue their professional development and eventually become BCBAs themselves.
That growth has the potential to expand the number of families MASC can serve while continuing to strengthen autism services within the community.
Gabrielle is also looking forward to collaborating closely with her fellow Co-Director and drawing from the experience and knowledge they each bring to the leadership team.
Leading with Compassion and Collaboration
Compassion will remain at the center of Gabrielle’s approach to leadership.
“I’m passionate about the work that I do, and the service we provide for our community. I have a love for helping others and working with the families we serve,” Gabrielle shared.
Her experience collaborating with other BCBAs and professionals has also shaped the kind of leader she hopes to be. In her new role, she wants families and staff to feel comfortable approaching the leadership team, asking questions, sharing ideas, and working together.
For Gabrielle, becoming Co-Director is another opportunity to continue doing what has motivated her throughout her career: supporting others and making a meaningful difference for the families MASC serves.
Please join us in congratulating Gabrielle on her new role and this exciting next chapter with Mariposa Autism Service Center!
